RICH RUSSELL<\/strong> – President<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A <\/strong>Pennsylvania native, Rich Russell relocated to Canandaigua in 1984.  He has two adult children and enjoys serving his community.  Rich became involved with Light Hill as a way to honor his parents and express gratitude toward his sisters for providing at-home end-of-life care for their parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELLEN POLIMENI<\/strong> – Vice President<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loss of family members drew Ellen to become involved in helping create a comfort care home in the Canandaigua community. Losing a loved one is difficult and knowing there are resources available like Light Hill makes for a truly \u201ccaring community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JOHN ZAPPIA<\/strong> – Treasurer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John is a native of Geneva, NY and has resided in Canandaigua for the last 36 years. He is retired from the Canandaigua City School District where he held the position of Assistant Superintendent for Business. John previously served on the Board of Light Hill in its first years of existence and is very happy for the opportunity to serve again. Light Hill plays a very significant role in providing for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of its clients and their families at a very critical phase of life; he hopes to support that mission through his service on its Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARY BRADY, MD<\/strong> – Secretary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary has been involved in end-of-life care since 1992. She was a House of John volunteer, the Medical Director for Ontario\u2013Yates Hospice and Education Outreach Coordinator for Compassionate Care. She is active in training volunteers for Light Hill and other comfort care homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARY SAVASTANO-CUTTING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary is honored to be involved with the care and support of individuals and loved ones at end-of-life. In her experiences as a Social Worker at Thompson Health and with her personal experiences, Mary is an ardent supporter of Light Hill. She is married and has three amazing adult children.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom grew up in Canandaigua. He now owns and operates a law practice here. He enjoys time on the lake and is dedicated to Light Hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johanna is a lifelong resident of Canandaigua. She is a former triathlete and enjoys spending time with her 3 children. Johanna also dabbles in arts and crafts in her spare time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

DAWN DEMOTT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dawn has been passionately involved in Light Hill since its beginning. She lives in Canandaigua with her husband and they’re very proud of their son who is completing his residency. Dawn is semi-retired from her role at the Primary School and is excited to be a part of Light Hill.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
